Salon celebrates its history
Catherine de’ Medici and her party visited Salon in 1654 and were greeted by Nostradamus.
The Fêtes et Culture à Salon association revives the event with over a hundred artists and actors. They bring visitors camps, shows, street theatre, concerts, tournaments, tours, parades, workshops and games for the 3-day festival. You can meet over forty artisans at the Renaissance market too. This year has lots of new events such as a horse procession, fantastic show, improv theatre and military procession. All in a festive, family-friendly and fun-filled atmosphere!
